James Cosand is a seasoned IT professional with extensive experience in infrastructure and data management roles. Currently serving as a Senior Engineer at Community Health Systems since July 2021, James specializes in EMC Avamar systems in a remote capacity. In addition, James has been a TSM Administrator and Backup Recovery Engineer at Lutheran Health Network since 2011, focusing on backup and disaster recovery solutions using EMC Avamar and IBM Tivoli Storage Manager. Previous positions include Senior AIX / TSM / SAN Administrator at Haverstick Consulting, System Administrator at Transworks, and Software Engineer at OnStar, where James developed call center simulator software. James began career in systems integration and validation at Delphi Delco Electronics from 1999 to 2001 and pursued studies at Purdue University from 1976 to 1978.
