Sebastian Sommer Akselsen is a seasoned professional in the banking and operations sector, currently serving as the Head of Banking Services and Core Banking at Lunar since November 2016. Akselsen has successfully led the Banking Services product from inception to production, overseeing all customers and accounts across the Nordics, managing over 600,000 accounts. With a strong background in strategic direction and development of banking infrastructure, Akselsen has played a pivotal role in establishing Lunar Bank in the Nordic region. Previous experience includes positions at Nova 100, kaastrup|andersen a/s as a Project Management Consultant, and Beiersdorf, where Akselsen focused on production system development and lean techniques. Akselsen holds a Master of Science degree in Operations and Innovation Management from Aalborg University and a Bachelor's degree in Global Business Engineering from the same institution.
