Leif Hsieh is a highly experienced Principal Process Engineer with a robust background in chemical engineering. Currently employed at Lummus Technology since August 2023, Leif leads an in-house program focused on validating radiant coil GA and plant OMB while participating in heater HAZOP, and aims to reduce the CO2 footprint through convection heat integration. Previous roles include Senior Process Engineer at LDIS, LLC, where Leif developed blue ammonia process simulations and air permitting calculations, and Principal Process Engineer Consultant at Mitsubishi Power, focusing on high-pressure alkaline electrolyzer cell stack design. Leif also held positions at JGC America, TechnipFMC, WorleyParsons, and Fluor, contributing to various process engineering projects across the energy and chemical sectors. Leif holds a Master’s degree in Chemical Engineering from Carnegie Mellon University, a Bachelor's degree from National Taiwan University, and further education from the Thayer School of Engineering at Dartmouth.
