Shiva Khalaf, Ph.D., currently serves as a Clinical SAS Programmer at Luminex Corporation, a DiaSorin Company, since February 2022. Prior to this role, Shiva held multiple positions at the University of Houston, including Postdoctoral Research Fellow in the Genesis Lab, where responsibilities included project management and psychometric data analysis for the Bilingual English Language Learners Assessment (BELLA) and consulting on the Psychodiagnostic Russian language battery ARFA-RUS. Additionally, Shiva worked as a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at the Texas Institute for Measurement, Evaluation, and Statistics (TIMES), focusing on managing and analyzing large longitudinal data with advanced statistical models. As a Graduate Research Assistant, Shiva contributed to an IES funded grant aimed at identifying reading and language disabilities in Spanish-speaking English learners. Also, experience as a Data Consultant at Neuhaus Education Center involved analyzing intervention effectiveness for dyslexic students. Shiva earned a Ph.D. in Educational Psychology with a focus on Measurement, Quantitative Methods, and Learning Sciences from the University of Houston in 2018.
