Prabhu Vivekananda K has extensive work experience in the field of quality management, particularly in the electronics and domestic appliances industry. Prabhu began their career in 1990 as an Engineer in Process Quality at Philips Electronic Singapore Pte Ltd, Domestic Appliance Division. Over the years, they held various roles such as Senior Engineer, Chief Engineer, and Quality Manager within the same company, focusing on design, manufacturing, and supplier quality. In 2000, they joined Philips Electronics Singapore Pte Ltd, Domestic Appliance Division as the Senior Manager of Quality, where they headed the Quality function until 2005. From 2006 to 2012, they served as the Director of Global Supplier Quality Management at Philips Electronics Singapore, Television. Following that, they worked at TP Vision as the Director of Supplier Quality Management (ODM/OEM) within the Television Division from 2012 to 2013. Currently, they hold the position of Director of Global Supplier Quality Management at Philips Lumileds, having started in 2014.

From 1979 to 1984, Prabhu Vivekananda K attended Mysore University where they earned a Bachelor of Engineering (BE) degree in Mechanical Engineering.
