Brett Wells has extensive experience in the field of manufacturing and research, primarily focusing on thin films and LED technologies. Currently, Brett serves as a Senior R&D Epi Technician at Lumileds since November 2011, contributing to the development of new LED lighting products. Previously, Brett held the position of Vice President of Manufacturing at Nano-Write Corp. from June 2003 to February 2008, overseeing the manufacturing of medical devices for the dental industry. Prior roles include Senior Thin Films Process Engineer at Read Rite and Candescent Technologies, where Brett developed process documentation, improved equipment efficiency, and enhanced production yields. Early career experience includes engineering technician roles at Dastek and Komag, focusing on magnetic thin film processes and R&D pilot line maintenance. Brett holds an Associate of Science degree in Industrial Electronics Technology from Gavilan College.
