Marliene P. is an experienced software manager and product owner currently leading the Cell Avidity business unit at LUMICKS since September 2022, overseeing a team of software developers and managing all software products in the unit. Prior to this role, Marliene served at the Ministerie van Defensie from February 2015 to September 2022, where responsibilities included leading a multidisciplinary team to develop mission-critical software for the Dutch Coastguard and conducting full-stack development for naval systems. Marliene's career began with part-time roles at Gemini Hospital and Regius College while studying, which contributed to a solid foundation in administration and support. Educationally, Marliene holds a Bachelor's Degree in Artificial Intelligence from Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam and a Master's Degree in Information Studies from the University of Amsterdam.
