Jacob (Jay) Alpert has over 20 years of experience in the financial services industry. Jacob ( Jay ) began their career in 2001 as Senior Vice President/ National Sales Manager at Sterne Agee & Co. where they opened the New York office, recruited personnel, and established the taxable and tax-exempt platforms. In 2006, they moved to M.R. Beal & Co. and served as Executive Vice President and Manager of Fixed Income, managing underwriting, trading, and sales. From 2013 to 2015, they worked as Senior Managing Director/ National Sales Manager at Lebenthal & Company, producing national sales and spearheading the distribution of all the firms' primary and secondary tax exempt and taxable products. From 2015 to 2018, they served as Principal/ Head of Municipal Underwriting and Trading at Williams Capital Group, supervising all municipal securities transactions and presenting to banking clients. Currently, they are the Director of Business Development at Lumesis, Inc.

Jacob (Jay) Alpert received their Certification in Capital Markets from the New York Institute of Finance between 1965 and 1967. Prior to that, they attended Brooklyn College from 1964 to 1966, studying Economics and Business Management. Jacob ( Jay ) also holds FINRA qualifications, Series 7, 9, 10, and 63 Licenses, and is a Graduate of Dimensional Management Training from DMT Associates.
