John Holmgren

John Holmgren has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. In 2020, they worked at Lumeo Technology, where they served as the Head of Business Development until September 2021, when they became the CSO & Partner. Prior to that, they were an Account Manager at Tomorrow AB from March 2018 to July 2020.

John has also been actively involved in different organizations. John was a Member of the Board at GKSS - Göteborgs Kungl. Segel Sällskap from January 2018 to December 2021. In this role, they led the market and information committee of the yacht club, developed communication strategies, and served as the editor for the club's paper.

Additionally, John founded Club 29, a sailing association for young sailors, and served as its Chairman and Board Member from January 2014 to July 2018. John successfully organized an annual week-long race in the Swedish archipelago, with over 100 participants and 20+ boats.

Furthermore, John was involved in Handels Entreprenörer, an entrepreneurship association at their school in Gothenburg, where they worked as an External Relations representative from May 2017 to May 2018. John also gained experience in sales and marketing roles at Sjösport AB, Mooringo, and Pelle P/PPY Production AB.

During their earlier years, John worked as a Harbor Captain at GKSS - Göteborgs Kungl. Segel Sällskap from April 2015 to February 2016 and as a Trainer at Askims BTK from January 2009 to August 2012.

Throughout their career, John has demonstrated their versatility and strong interpersonal skills through their involvement in various roles and organizations.

John Holmgren completed their Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Business Administration with a focus on Marketing from the School of Business, Economics and Law at the University of Gothenburg. John attended this institution from 2014 to 2018. During their time at university, in 2016, they also briefly studied Rhetoric at the University of Gothenburg. In addition to their formal education, John obtained several certifications, including Reid Hoffman and Chris Yeh on Blitzscaling, Cold Calling: Overcoming Sales Objections, Asking Great Sales Questions, Selling to Executives, and Facebook Marketing: Advertising, from LinkedIn.
