Jiaming Song is a Chief Scientist at Luma AI since July 2023, focused on the Dream Machine project. Prior to this role, Jiaming held multiple positions at NVIDIA from June 2022 to July 2023, including Principal Research Scientist and Senior Research Scientist in the Deep Imagination Research group, contributing to the Picasso project. Jiaming's research background includes a postdoctoral position and PhD studies at Stanford University (2016-2022), internships at Facebook and OpenAI, and research roles at Megvii, Duke University, Tsinghua University, and Microsoft Research Asia. Jiaming obtained a Ph.D. in Computer Science from Stanford University and a Bachelor of Engineering in Computer Science from Tsinghua University.
