Karl Andersson is a distinguished academic and professional in the field of cybersecurity and technology, currently serving as a Professor and Head of Subject at Luleå University of Technology since November 2005. With extensive experience in cybersecurity, Andersson has also held leadership roles as Dean of the Faculty of Science and Technology and as Executive Director at the Centre for Distance-spanning Technology. Significant contributions include program directorships for various international Master’s programs and involvement in strategic councils. Alongside the academic career, Andersson maintains a position as an Officer of the Reserve in the Swedish Armed Forces. Educational qualifications include a PhD in Mobile Systems from Luleå University of Technology and a Master of Science in Computer Science & Engineering from KTH Royal Institute of Technology.
