Fredrik Forsberg has over a decade of academic and research experience in the field of experimental mechanics and x-ray microtomography. Currently serving as a Senior Lecturer and head of the x-ray microtomography lab at Luleå University of Technology since June 2012, Fredrik has contributed significantly to research on full 3D microstructural imaging of iron ore pellets and porosity analysis through 3D image processing. Prior to this role, Fredrik worked as a Researcher at LKAB from October 2010 to March 2017, and at Luleå University of Technology from January 2009 to October 2010. Fredrik holds a PhD in Experimental Mechanics and an MSc in Engineering Physics, both obtained from Luleå University of Technology.
