Jan von Dewitz is an experienced trainer currently working at Lufthansa Technical Training GmbH. Previously, Jan held the position of Flugerätmechaniker with a focus on Triebwerkstechnik at Lufthansa Technik from June 2006 to March 2017, where responsibilities included the assembly and disassembly of engines such as CFM56-5/-7, V2500, and CF6-80C2, as well as conducting final inspections of assembled engines. Jan's educational background includes completion of a LEAN training program at Lufthansa Technik AG Hamburg, achieving the status of LEAN Berater der Produktion, as well as earning the title of Industriemeister für Luftfahrttechnik from Wirtschaftsakademie Elmshorn. Initial training in aircraft mechanics with a specialization in engine technology was completed between August 2003 and June 2006.
