Hlynur Johnsen has a diverse work experience that spans across different roles and companies. Hlynur currently works at Lucinity as a Principal Product Manager, a position they have held since May 2023. Prior to that, they worked at Tempo Software as a Product Manager from May 2021 to May 2023.

Before joining Tempo Software, Hlynur was a Group Product Manager at Tempo Software, starting in November 2019 and ending in May 2021. In this role, they analyzed feedback and product usage to understand customer needs, created product roadmaps, led a product development team, and promoted products to prospective customers.

Hlynur also has experience working at Betware, where they held the role of Product Manager from April 2010 to July 2015. In this role, they focused on building marketing software for lotteries, including loyalty programs and a bonus engine. Hlynur collaborated with customers to design and prioritize product improvements and led an agile product development team. Hlynur also held the position of Software Developer at Betware from February 2009 to April 2010.

In their earlier career, Hlynur worked at Marmalade as a Software Engineer. From February 2005 to January 2009, they led a team of engineers working on game development projects. Their responsibilities included developing game scripting engines, creating technical game design, and working on various game titles.

Hlynur Johnsen began their education in 2000 at Delft University of Technology, where they studied Computer Science until 2003. Following this, they pursued further studies at the University of Westminster from 2003 to 2004, earning a Master of Science degree in Computer Games Programming.
