Aaron Labbé

Co-Founder & Chief Technology Officer at LUCID

Aaron Labbé's work experience includes serving as the Co-Founder & Chief Technology Officer at LUCID since May 2017. In this role, they are responsible for patent writing, managing R&D, machine learning, music production, and product development & engineering.

Aaron also worked as a Technology Mentor at Transmedia Zone, Ryerson University from January 2019 to December 2022, where they provided mentorship in technology. Aaron also served as a Team Leader for LUCID at the same company from May 2017 to May 2019.

Additionally, Aaron was a NEXT AI Entrepreneur at Next AI from February 2020 to October 2020.

Before that, they worked as an Audio Engineer & Producer on a freelance basis from May 2010 to February 2019. Their tasks included audio engineering, music composition, project management, location audio recording & mixing, studio recording & mixing, sound design, scoring, music production, studio orchestration, and project management for various music, immersive media, and film/TV projects.

Aaron also gained experience as an Installation Artist, Technical Director, and Experience Designer on a freelance basis from September 2015 to January 2019.

Lastly, they had an Audio Engineering Internship at Mattel, Inc. in May 2011.

Aaron Labbé attended the State University of New York at Fredonia from 2009 to 2012, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Sound Recording Technology. Following this, they went on to study at Toronto Metropolitan University from 2013 to 2018, earning a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in New Media.
