Micah Ranney CGMBS has a solid work history in the field of laboratory and clinical diagnostics. Their most recent position was as a Laboratory Supervisor at Lucid Diagnostics, starting in June 2022. Prior to that, they worked at Ambry Genetics from 2016 to 2022, holding the roles of Senior Manager and Clinical Lab Manager.

Before their time at Ambry Genetics, Micah worked at Focus Diagnostics from 2014 to 2016 as a CLS II, and at Quest Diagnostics from 2012 to 2014, also as a CLS II.

Micah's career in the medical field began in 2007 at Ambry Genetics, where they held multiple roles including Technical Supervisor, Laboratory Supervisor, Clinical Lab Scientist, and Laboratory Technician.

Prior to this, Micah worked as a Senior Laboratory Technician at Arbor Surgical in 2007, and as a Technologist IV and Technologist II at NAMSA from 2004 to 2007.

Their early career includes positions as a Microbiology Associate at B.Braun Medical India Pvt Ltd in 2004, and as a Microbiology Compliance Lab Technician at both the City of Anaheim and MWD in 2004 and 2003, respectively.

Throughout their career, Micah has gained extensive experience in various laboratory techniques and processes, such as gel electrophoresis, Sanger sequencing, microarrays, and microbiological testing. Micah has also demonstrated leadership abilities, including supervisory roles and coordination with different departments to enhance efficiency and reduce errors.

Micah Ranney CGMBS completed a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology, General from the University of California, Riverside from 1998 to 2002. Prior to that, Micah attended Jurupa Valley High School from 1994 to 1998. In addition to their academic qualifications, Micah also obtained a certification as a CLS Clinical Genetics Molecular Biologist Scientist from the California Department of Public Health in November 2010.
