Charlene Slapak Lambros, RN, MS, is a seasoned professional in nursing informatics with extensive experience in clinical documentation and health information technology. Currently serving as the KP HealthConnect Inpatient Application Coordinator at Kaiser Permanente Information Technology since April 2003, Charlene leads initiatives in care planning and patient education. Prior roles include Nursing Systems Analyst at John Muir Medical Center, where Charlene implemented a key health application in a trauma center, and Senior Business Consultant for Kaiser Permanente IT, where clinical concepts were modeled for medical terminologies. Charlene began their career as a staff nurse in a Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit. Educational qualifications include a Master of Science in Nursing Informatics from the University of California, San Francisco, and a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Case Western Reserve University.
