Allison Palenske is a seasoned landscape planner currently serving as Principal Landscape Planner at LUC since November 2018, having previously held the role of Senior Landscape Planner. Prior experience includes a position as a Junior Planner at the City of San Diego in the Landscape Review section, where responsibilities involved reviewing projects for compliance with city regulations. Prior to that, Allison worked as a Social Media and Communications Officer for Creative Carbon Scotland, focusing on communication strategy and content creation. Early career experiences include internships at Spurlock Poirier Landscape Architects, the City of San Luis Obispo, and a student assistant role supporting a public art installation project. Educational credentials include a Master of Fine Arts in Art, Space and Nature from The University of Edinburgh and a Bachelor of Landscape Architecture from California Polytechnic State University-San Luis Obispo.
