Tim Erickson has a varied work experience. Tim started their career as an Associate Editor at Affinity Media/Ehlert Publishing Group in 1997 and worked there until 2000. Tim then joined Polaris Industries as an External Relations Coordinator from 2000 to 2003. After that, they rejoined Affinity Media/Ehlert Publishing Group and held the positions of Senior Editor and Editor-in-Chief from 2003 to 2009. Tim then worked as a Communications Specialist at Cargill from 2009 to 2012. In 2013, they joined Lubrication Technologies, Inc. (Lube-Tech) and worked as an Account Manager until 2018. Tim was then promoted to the role of Senior Account Manager until 2019. From 2019 to 2023, they served as a Sales Manager - Lube-Tech Custom Branded Solutions, and they are currently working as a Sales Director at the same company.

Tim Erickson attended Gustavus Adolphus College from 1991 to 1993, where they studied Biology and Chemistry. Tim then transferred to the University of Minnesota-Duluth and obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in English from 1993 to 1996.
