D'Wayn Mapp, MPA has worked in various roles throughout their career. D'Wayn is currently working as the Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Grants and Sponsorship Manager at the Law School Admission Council since June 2020. Prior to this, they were employed by Thomas Jefferson University, where they held the positions of Manager, Outreach and Education from June 2014 to May 2020, and Sr. Research Administrator from March 2009 to June 2014. Before joining Thomas Jefferson University, D'Wayn worked as a Sr. Consultant/Financial Management Specialist at Booz Allen Hamilton from January 2006 to March 2009. D'Wayn also served as a Programs Associate at the United States Golf Association Foundation from June 2002 to July 2004.
D'Wayn Mapp, MPA, holds a Master of Public Administration (M.P.A.) degree in Urban Administration from the University of Missouri-Kansas City, which they obtained from 2000 to 2002. Prior to that, they pursued a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Journalism from The University of Memphis, completing their studies from 1995 to 1999.
In terms of additional certifications, D'Wayn Mapp earned a Grants Management Certification from Management Concepts in 2009. D'Wayn also obtained a Diversity, Equity and Inclusion in the Workplace Certificate from USF Corporate Training and Professional Education in May 2021.
