Valerie Jacobs has a diverse work experience spanning different industries. Valerie served as the Chief Growth Officer at LPK, overseeing business development, external relations, and marketing efforts. Valerie also led the creation and expansion of LPK's capabilities, offering innovative solutions to clients. Prior to this role, they held the position of Chief Insight + Innovation Officer at LPK, where they developed expertise in trends, foresight, and insight, and introduced innovation as a tool for value creation and growth. Valerie also built a world-class global in-house trend capability as the VP, Managing Creative Director, Trends at LPK. Additionally, they worked as an Adjunct Instructor at the University of Cincinnati's College of Design, Architecture, Art, and Planning, facilitating learning in trend forecasting, branding, fashion design, and product development. Valerie has also founded their own agency, Valerie Jacobs Trend Agency, focused on innovation and trend forecasting. Before transitioning to the corporate world, they had roles in marketing and public relations at the Kentucky Museum of Art and Craft, Fund for the Arts, and StageOne: The Louisville Children's Theatre.
Valerie Jacobs pursued their education with diligence and focus. Beginning in 1987, they attended Birmingham-Southern College, where they completed a Bachelor of Science degree in Business. The years spent at Birmingham-Southern College, until 1990, provided Valerie with a strong foundation in the field. Subsequently, in 2001, they enrolled in the University of Cincinnati to further enhance their knowledge and skills. Valerie dedicated herself to the study of Fashion Design and Product Development, ultimately earning their Master of Design degree in that field in 2002. Valerie'seducation culminated in a specialized expertise in Fashion Design and Product Development, setting the stage for their professional career.
