Jessie Hong A. is an experienced landscape architect and educator with a robust background in design and advocacy. As Advocacy Staff for the USGBC National Capital Region since March 2023, Jessie contributes to advocacy and policy efforts. Currently serving as Design Coordinator II at LPA, Inc. since December 2021, Jessie has also held roles as Guest Lecturer at Xi'an Academy of Fine Arts from July 2022 to March 2023, and previously as Landscape Project Designer at RELM from June 2016 to November 2021. Other relevant experience includes positions at EDSA, Inc., MCM Group International, and AGER Group, along with academic roles at Ball State University. Jessie obtained a Master of Landscape Architecture from Ball State University and a Certificate Program in Health Effects of Climate Change from Harvard University, complementing a Bachelor of Arts in Environmental Design from Xi'an Academy of Fine Arts.
