Jennifer M. Grenier

Jennifer M. Grenier, DNP, RN, CENP has a diverse work experience in the healthcare industry. Jennifer M. started their career as a Nursing Assistant at Rush University Medical Center in 2000 and worked their way up to Clinical Nurse III, gaining extensive clinical experience with various patient populations. Jennifer M. also served as a Liver Transplant Coordinator during this time.

In 2010, Grenier joined Rush Oak Park Hospital as a Unit Director for the Telemetry Unit and later became the Unit Director for the Resource Team/New grad float pool and the Innovation Unit. Jennifer M. achieved significant improvements in patient care outcomes through the implementation of innovative interventions, such as the introduction of the role of the Clinical Nurse Leader.

Grenier returned to Rush University Medical Center in 2016 as the Director of Acute In-Patient Rehabilitation Hospital and Director of Nursing for the Medical/Surgical Unit. In 2018, they transitioned to the role of Director of Clinical Operations for the Cardiac Service Line, where they had direct accountability for key programs and served as a liaison between various clinical services.

Currently, Grenier is working at Loyola Medicine as the Associate Chief Nurse and Regional Executive Director for Behavioral Health. In this role, they lead the development and implementation of nursing clinical programs, ensuring patient care objectives are met while prioritizing wellbeing and regulatory compliance. Jennifer M. has also been involved in restructuring patient flow to streamline care and tracking budget use, especially in response to COVID-19.

Jennifer M. Grenier, DNP, RN, CENP completed their Bachelor's of Science in Nursing, BSN at Millikin University from 1998 to 2002. Jennifer M. then pursued a Master of Science in Nursing, MSN with a focus on Nursing Administration and Nursing Education at Lewis University from 2011 to 2013. Jennifer furthered their education at RUSH University, earning a Doctor of Nursing degree in System Leadership from 2015 to 2017. Jennifer M. also obtained additional certifications including Certified Nurse Manager and Leader (CNML) and Certified in Executive Nursing Practice (CENP) from the American Organization for Nursing Leadership in 2019, as well as a Certified Med/Surg RN certification from AACN in 2011.
