Enrique A. Alvarez Tarajano has over 9 years of professional experience in the software engineering industry. Enrique A. began their career in 2012 as a Backend Engineer at Indra, where they created a Java framework using Reflection to automatically generate and validate application entities, configurations and windows. Enrique A. also migrated and tested project code from ADA85 to Java and deployed web services using CXF and Apache Camel.

In 2015, Enrique joined Guidewire Software as a Solution Consultant. During their time there, they analyzed complex requirements and delivered creative solutions to meet the customer’s business needs. Enrique A. also troubleshot project’s issues by performing detailed analysis and identifying causes and appropriate solutions. In addition, they increased the team’s performance by developing a Python tool that allowed engineers to quickly deploy and test products’ versions.

Enrique then moved to Qualitic in 2018, where they served as a Senior Backend Engineer. In this role, they analyzed and designed solutions for customer requirements around existing core technologies. Enrique A. also created REST web services in Java that allowed the customer’s subsystems to interact with a centralized platform that gathered information to facilitate the decision making process. Additionally, they migrated company resources to GNU/Linux & open-source technologies, eliminating the licensing costs and reducing maintenance through automation using Bash and Python.

Most recently, Enrique began working as a Backend Engineer at Loyal Guru in 2021.

Enrique A. Alvarez Tarajano obtained a Bachelor of Science in Computer Engineering from the Universidad de Extremadura between 2007 and 2011. Enrique A. also holds two certifications from Oracle and Scrum Alliance, respectively, as an Oracle Certified Associate, Java SE 8 Programmer and a Scrum Alliance Certified Scrum Professional.
