Jenica Blechschmidt has a diverse range of work experience in various industries.

Jenica started their career as a Summer Analyst at Wachovia Securities, LLC in 2008. In 2009, they worked as an Investment Banking Analyst at Janney Montgomery Scott. Jenica then moved on to William Blair & Company, where they served as an Investment Banking Analyst in the Internet & Digital Media group from 2010 to 2012, and later as an Investment Banking Associate in the Technology Group from 2012 to 2013.

In 2013, Jenica joined Box as a Strategic Planning Manager for Marketing and Customer Success. Jenica quickly rose through the ranks, being promoted to Senior Manager and then Group Product Manager before eventually becoming Chief of Staff to the CMO. During their time at Box, they played a crucial role in the company's transition from Enterprise File Sync & Share to Enterprise Content Management. Jenica was involved in various strategic initiatives, program management, leading planning processes, managing budgets, and implementing marketing strategies.

After leaving Box in 2015, Jenica embarked on a period of traveling and consulting while also learning Spanish. Jenica took an intensive Spanish course in Mexico City while providing consulting services in Product Management and UX design.

Most recently, in 2020, Jenica founded their own company called Lovebug. Jenica serves as the Founder, CEO, Product Manager, and UX Designer. Lovebug is a highly-rated mobile app available on iOS and Android that was featured by Apple. The app was built using React Native.

Jenica Blechschmidt began their education in 2005 at The Wharton School, where they pursued a BSE degree in Finance, General. Jenica attended this institution until 2009. Additionally, in the same year, they enrolled at the University of Pennsylvania and completed a Bachelor's degree in Digital Media Design in Engineering School the following year in 2006.
