Brian Denzer

Data Analyst at Louisiana Supreme Court

Brian Denzer is a Data Analyst at the Louisiana Supreme Court since September 2014, focusing on enhancing data practices across over 100 courts to support justice outcomes and public safety. Prior roles include Data Manager for Catholic Charities' Hurricane Isaac Disaster Case Management Program, where Brian managed data for over 1700 clients, and Map and Data Visualization Developer at Terra Firma GeoInformatics, contributing to a $15 million grant for Louisiana fishing families impacted by the BP oil spill. As the Founder/Executive Director of NolaStat and the New Orleans Citizen Crime Watch, Brian advocated for improved public access to government data and developed crime mapping technologies. Earlier experience includes GIS roles at the Jefferson Parish Sheriff's Office and the United States Attorney's Office. Brian holds a Master of Arts in Latin American Studies from Tulane University and a Bachelor of Arts in History from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee.
