Thomas Cowie is a Senior Finance Manager at Lothian Pension Fund since May 2022, with a background in finance and research. Prior to this role, Thomas held the position of Manager in the Digital Accelerator at PwC from September 2016 to May 2022, focusing on embracing technological change within the firm. Thomas also served as a Senior Associate specializing in Asset and Wealth Management audit, leading teams in the investigation of UK investment fund accounting. Thomas completed a PhD in Organic Chemistry at Heriot-Watt University, where research emphasized the development of light-reactive cancer therapies, and previously gained experience as a Research Assistant at the Institute of Organic Chemistry and Biochemistry in the Czech Republic. Thomas holds a CA in Accounting from ICAS and an MSci in Medicinal Chemistry from UCL.
