Tom Meehan, CFI, serves as the Chief Executive Officer of CONTROLTEK since 2017, overseeing the company's strategic vision and core business areas, including Tamper-Evident Packaging, Electronic Article Surveillance (EAS), and RFID. Recognized as a Top Retail Expert in 2024 by RETHINK Retail, Tom has a significant background as President of CONTROLTEK and held dual roles as Chief Strategy Officer and Chief Information Security Officer, focusing on business strategy, security innovation, and brand evolution. In addition to contributions as a Co-Host for The Cash News Podcast and various writing roles for industry publications, Tom is also involved with organizations like Thermogard and Zero Trafficking as a board member and strategic advisor, respectively. Tom holds an MBA and has completed programs at prestigious institutions, including MIT and Marist College.
