Kim Janssen is a professional with extensive experience in strategic planning and audience analysis in the media industry. Currently serving as the Senior Director of Long-Term Planning at Los Angeles Times since March 2019, Kim has also held roles such as Director of Strategic Planning and Senior Digital Analyst. Prior to this, Kim worked at Chicago Tribune Media Group from August 2015 to March 2019, where responsibilities included Audience Analyst and Columnist. Earlier experience includes a position as Metro Desk Editor and Federal Courts Reporter at Chicago Sun-Times from November 2009 to August 2015. Kim holds a Master of Business Administration from The University of Chicago Booth School of Business and a BA in Film and American Studies from the University of East Anglia, with additional education at San Francisco State University.
