Nicole Mcallister Vermeer

Nicole Mcallister Vermeer is the current Director at Los Angeles Mission. Prior to this, they served as the Executive Director of Development and External Affairs at USC Lusk Center for Real Estate from November 1999 to July 2006. In this role, they were responsible for overseeing the fundraising, marketing, and communications activities of the center. Under their leadership, the center realized unprecedented success in raising sustaining and major gifts, diversified its revenue stream, and experienced a double-digit increase in membership.

Ms. Vermeer also served as the Vice President of Development and External Affairs of the Pacific Council on International Policy from July 2006 to April 2009. As a key member of the executive team, they were directly responsible for the expansion, strategy and oversight of the Council’s development and external affairs activities including board engagement, strategic partnerships, national and international programs, corporate collaboration, annual and major gifts fundraising campaigns, membership and marketing communications. With their leadership, the Pacific Council realized unprecedented success in raising sustaining and major gifts, diversified its revenue stream, and experienced a double-digit increase in membership.

Ms. Vermeer is a highly accomplished development professional with over 20 years of experience in fundraising, marketing, and communications. Nicole has a proven track record of success in building relationships with key stakeholders, developing innovative strategies, and executing on complex initiatives.

Nicole Mcallister Vermeer's educational career includes a Executive Program in Governing Family Enterprises from Northwestern University - Kellogg School of Management, a Master of Business Administration - MBA in Strategy and Finance from University of Southern California, a Master of Business Administration in Strategy and Organizational Behavior from University of Southern California - Marshall School of Business, and a B.A. in Urban Studies and Planning from UC San Diego. Nicole also has a certification from Northwestern University - Kellogg School of Management in Governing Family Enterprises.
