Jessica Vermooten serves as a Publications Editor and Associate Editor at the United States Institute of Peace since August 2020. With a diverse background in editing, Jessica has also worked as a self-employed manuscript editor since 2008 and served as an Editor for the National Association for the Education of Young Children in 2019. Previous roles include Senior Analyst and Site Manager for Wittenberg Weiner Consulting, LLC, and editorial positions at Hay House, Inc. and Business Wire. Jessica Vermooten holds a Bachelor of Arts in Women's Studies and English from St. Catherine University and a diploma in Italian Language with Highest Honors from the Defense Language Institute Foreign Language Center.
