Ashley Lewis, MPH has a diverse range of work experience. Ashley has held multiple roles at the Los Angeles County Department of Health Services, including as a Senior Staff Analyst and Associate Director. Ashley has also served as a Program Manager at the department. Prior to their work at the county, Ashley was a Leader at Culture of Health Leaders, a national leadership program focused on addressing health inequities. Ashley also worked as a Project Manager and Community Health Worker at Esperanza Community Housing. Ashley has a background in public health research, having been a CRTA Fellow at the National Cancer Institute and a Telephone Interviewer at the RAND Corporation. Ashley has also gained experience in administrative support as an Administrative Assistant at the UCLA Bruin Resource Center. Ashley started their career in public health as an intern at The Los Angeles Trust for Children's Health.
Ashley Lewis, MPH received their Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in African and African American Studies from Duke University in 2014. In 2016, they completed their Master of Public Health (M.P.H.) in Community Health Science at UCLA Fielding School of Public Health. In May 2018, they obtained Asthma Educator Certification from the National Asthma Educator Certification Board.
