Stanley S. Bissey serves as the Executive Director & CEO of the Los Angeles County Bar Association (LACBA) since January 2018, leading one of the largest voluntary metropolitan bar associations in the U.S. with over 20,000 members. Prior to this, Stanley held a similar position with the California Judges Association (CJA) and the California Judges Foundation (CJF) from September 2003 to January 2018, where a successful legacy of leadership and policy advocacy was established. Additional leadership roles include serving as Past Chair of the Diversity & Inclusion Committee for ASAE and the Center for Association Leadership, Assistant Executive Director and Membership Director at the San Francisco Medical Society, Membership Director at the National Employment Lawyers Association, and Membership and Publications Coordinator with the Georgia Trial Lawyers Association. Stanley earned a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Government from Idaho State University and graduated from Highland High School.
