K. Helmut Lord currently serves as a Field Application Engineer at Nordic Semiconductor since April 2023 and is a Co-Founder of Lord Technologies, where mechanical keyboards and other input devices are designed and sold. Prior experience includes roles as an Electrical and Software Device Engineer at Sorrento Therapeutics, Inc., focusing on PCB design and firmware development for a drug delivery device, and as an Embedded Systems Engineering Intern at Keep Technologies. Academic contributions as a Teaching Assistant at Georgia Institute of Technology included supporting students in Embedded Systems and Digital Design Laboratories. K. Helmut Lord holds a Master of Science in Computer Science and a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology and graduated with honors from Athens Academy.
