Alland Sy currently serves as Senior Managing Director and Head of Global Enterprise Technology at Lord, Abbett & Co. LLC, a position held since August 2022. Previously, Alland held the role of Global Head of Digital Workplace at Vanguard from June 2021 to April 2022. Prior experience includes Managing Director for Infrastructure, Operations & Cloud at TD Ameritrade, as well as roles at Bank of America and Goldman Sachs, where responsibilities included technology infrastructure and global network security engineering. Alland began the career as a Network Engineer at Instinet Corporation and Dresdner Kleinwort. Alland holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science from Rutgers University, completed a Joint Bachelor’s Degree Program with New Jersey Institute of Technology, and is pursuing a Post Graduate Program in Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning: Business Applications from The University of Texas at Austin, alongside Executive Education in Negotiation from Harvard Law School.
