Karina Arguello is an accomplished professional in the hospitality industry, currently serving as the Commercial Director at Lopesan Costa Bavaro since February 2020. Prior to this, Karina held the position of Contracting Director for the USA and Canada at RIU Hotels & Resorts from January 2013 to December 2019. Earlier experience includes serving as Project Director at Metro Country Club from February 2010 to December 2012 and as Sales Director for the USA and Canada at Sancutary Cap Cana from October 2003 to December 2008. Karina began a managerial career as the General Manager of Hotel Europa from October 2002 to October 2003. Educational qualifications include a Licentiate degree in Hospitality Administration/Management from Universidad Iberoamericana (1991-1995) and a Bachelor's degree from Colegio Americano de Quito (1981-1987).
