Amy Hurwitz has worked for two companies, Loop88 and UCLA Alumni Association. Amy began working for Loop88 in 2015 in the role of Chief of Stuff. Before that, they worked for UCLA Alumni Association from 2011-2015 in three different roles: Director, Alumni Events; Assistant Director, Alumni Events; and Coordinator, Alumni Marketing and Communications.

Amy Hurwitz's education history includes graduating from the University of California, Los Angeles with a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and Sociology in 2009, Calabasas High School, and California State University, Northridge with a Master of Arts in Communication Studies.
