Christophe Botek has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Christophe is currently working as a Staff Software Engineer at Lookout since August 2022. Prior to that, they served as a Senior Scala Developer at the Centre de recherche du CHU Sainte-Justine from December 2020 to July 2022.
Before their tenure at CHU Sainte-Justine, Christophe worked at agileDSS, where they held various roles as a Senior Big Data Developer. Christophe served at Bdc from June 2019 to December 2020, CBC Radio-Canada in May 2019, Metro Richelieu from January 2019 to April 2019, and iA from September 2018 to December 2018.
Furthermore, Christophe Botek worked at Inocybe Technologies as an Engineering Manager from June 2017 to September 2018. Christophe also worked as a Scala Developer at Inocybe Technologies from January 2016 to June 2017.

Christophe Botek pursued their education in the field of technology and information. From 2009 to 2014, they attended ECE. Ecole d'ingénieurs, an Engineering School, where they obtained a Master of Engineering (M.Eng.) degree, specializing in Computer Technology and Computer Systems. In 2011, they also spent a year at Concordia University studying Technologies de l'information. Furthermore, in 2013, they briefly attended École de technologie supérieure for additional studies in Technologies de l'information.
In addition to their formal education, Christophe Botek has acquired several certifications. In 2014, they obtained the TOEIC Listening and Reading certification from Educational Testing Service (ETS). Christophe also completed courses in Introduction to Data Science, Machine Learning, and Web Intelligence and Big Data, all through Coursera, in July 2014. In 2018, they obtained a certification in Big Data Analysis with Scala and Spark, also from Coursera.
More recently, in 2020, they obtained certifications in Ethical Research from CHU Sainte-Justine and The Biomedical Research Ethics Tutorial - RA from CITI Program, A Division of BRANY. Moreover, in 2020, they completed a certification in Lightbend Data Engineering - Data Principles from Lightbend, Inc.
