Kurt In Albon, MSc, has over two decades of experience at Lonza, where currently serving as the Global Head of Digital Architecture Quality. In this role, Kurt ensures the quality, fitness-for-purpose, and compliance of numerous computerized systems in a regulated environment, while leading a team to enhance Lonza's digital architecture. Previous positions include Head of QC Information Systems, where oversight of a site-wide data integrity project took place, and Global Head of Quality Assurance, which involved standardizing and managing GxP-critical systems globally. Kurt also held roles such as Global IT Compliance Manager and has extensive experience in system development. Prior to Lonza, Kurt worked as a trainer in computer system engineering and MS Excel at HES-SO and Institut Scheidegger. Educational qualifications include an MSc in Pharmaceutical Validation Technology from Technological University Dublin and a BSc in Computer Systems Development from Swiss University for Applied Computer Science.
