Bilgehan D. has a diverse work experience in the energy and engineering sectors. They began their career at National Grid as a Transmission Planning Engineer from October 2008 to March 2011. Following this, they joined ISO New England Inc., where they worked as a Senior Engineer in Operations Support and Real-Time Studies from March 2011 to October 2016.

In 2016, Bilgehan joined AMSC as a Senior Engineer in Network Planning and Applications, and later became the Manager of Network Planning and Applications from 2018 to March 2022. They then moved to GE Research, working as a Senior Engineer from March 2022 to February 2023.

Currently, Bilgehan is employed at Longroad Energy as the Director of Transmission Engineering since February 2023.
