Connor Gibson

Chief Engineer Of Propulsion Systems at Longhorn Rocketry Association

Connor Gibson is an experienced aerospace engineering professional currently serving as the Lead of Test and Launch Operations at the Longhorn Rocketry Association since September 2022. Connor has a proven track record in leading teams to achieve successful test firings of hybrid rocket engines and has been involved in various engineering projects, including the assembly of a record-setting two-stage solid-propellant rocket and the redesign of nitrous oxide fluid systems. Additionally, Connor has actively participated in multiple testing phases, including cold flow tests and the certification of ground support equipment for liquid bi-propellant rockets as a Launch Operations Engineer at the Texas Rocket Engineering Lab. Currently pursuing an Aerospace Engineering degree at The University of Texas at Austin, Connor has built a solid foundation through rigorous hands-on experience in rocketry and fluid systems.
