Angel Nolasco serves as the Structures Engineer Lead at the University of Texas Design Build Fly, overseeing the design and manufacturing of aircraft fuselages using SolidWorks and composite materials. Angel's leadership contributed to a team success of placing 17th out of 99 teams in the AIAA Design, Build, Fly National Competition. As a UT SEEK Mentor, Angel leads mentoring sessions for elementary students, fostering interest in engineering. Additionally, Angel works as an Aerodynamics Engineer for the Longhorn Rocketry Association and as a Sales Associate at University Co-op, demonstrating a commitment to both engineering and community engagement. Prior experience includes a role as Integration Manager for NASA's Highschool Aerospace Scholar program, focusing on lunar habitat research and development. Angel is pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Aerospace Engineering at The University of Texas at Austin, expected to graduate in May 2026.
