Charlene Thompson currently serves as Deputy County Attorney at the Nassau County Attorneys Office since February 2023. In addition to this role, Charlene Thompson is an Adjunct Professor of Law at the Maurice A. Deane School of Law at Hofstra University and an approved Instructor for the Real Estate Industry with a focus on Fair Housing & Equitable Inclusion at the Long Island Board of REALTORS®, both since August 2022 and April 2022, respectively. As Of Counsel at Comrie & Associates PLLC since March 2016, Charlene Thompson specializes in Residential Real Estate, Wills, Trusts & Estates, and provides comprehensive legal services for Small Business Owners. Additionally, Charlene Thompson is the Owner and CEO of Thompson Economic Development Services, LLC, established in March 2011. Previously, Charlene Thompson served as Commissioner for the Incorporated Village of Hempstead Community Development Agency from January 2018 to December 2021. Educational background includes a Juris Doctor degree from Howard University School of Law and a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from William & Mary.
