Andrea Perez is an experienced professional dedicated to supporting equity-focused organizations through various leadership roles. Currently serving as Co-Chair of the DCAC at Long Beach Unified School District and Chairperson of the School Site Council at Riley Elementary, Andrea fosters collaboration between parents and the district. As Manager at Andrea Valle Perez Consulting, expertise lies in conducting comprehensive recruitment for diverse talent across all organizational levels. Notably, during a tenure at Teach For America, Andrea achieved significant recruitment milestones, including exceeding diversity goals and successfully placing over 180 teachers despite team reductions. Earlier experiences include property management and guest hosting at Gastro Club LLC and directing student empowerment initiatives at Global Brigades. Andrea holds a Bachelor of Arts in International Studies from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign.
