Emily Peng currently works as a GIS/ITS Transit Planner at Long Beach Transit, where responsibilities include implementing GIS systems, monitoring transit performance, and preparing transit data reports. Previous experience includes roles as a Service Planning Intern, Network and Camera Operator at USC Viterbi, and GIS Interns at TreePeople and California Sea Grant. Emily has also conducted undergraduate research at the University of Southern California, focusing on spatial analysis and health data. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Studies and a minor in GIS and Sustainability Science from the University of Southern California, with an expected graduation in May 2024.
