Monika Simonaityte has extensive experience in air traffic management and strategic deployment, currently serving as the Head of Air Traffic Management Strategy at London Stansted Airport since September 2015. Monika leads the Airport Community App, catering to approximately 10,000 users across various airport sectors. Previously, Monika managed SESAR deployment and compliance with EU regulations, successfully securing funding for significant projects. Monika's career began in airside operations, with early roles focused on operational performance and planning. Monika also served as an Air Transport Management Course Representative and Aviation Security Coordinator at Airports Council International (Europe), where Monika was notable for being the youngest employee in the organization's history. Monika holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Air Transport Management from Loughborough University and a Maturity Certificate with Honours from Palanga ''Senoji'' Gymnasium.
