Rachel Flowers is a highly experienced public health professional currently serving as a Visiting Fellow at London South Bank University, alongside their role as Director of Public Health for Croydon Council, a position held since February 2016. Rachel has been actively involved in various prestigious organizations, including serving as a member of the Medical Research Council’s Public Health Intervention Development Panel and as a General Council Member for the UK Faculty of Public Health. Rachel's significant contributions to public health include chairing the Child Death Overview Panel for the South West London Alliance of CCGs and acting as a Health Advisor for the Old Oak and Park Royal Development Corporation, where Rachel led initiatives to integrate health into urban development. With a strong academic background, Rachel is currently pursuing a Doctorate in Risk at Middlesex University, complemented by advanced degrees in Health Promotion/Public Health and Environmental Health.
