Simon Reading is an experienced transportation professional with a focus on driver management and safety. Currently serving as a Driver Team Manager at London North Eastern Railway since June 2018, Simon is responsible for overseeing competency and welfare issues for mainline drivers, while consistently maintaining personal competency on routes spanning from Kings Cross to Leeds and Newcastle. Prior to this role, Simon held a similar position at Virgin Trains East Coast from September 2014 to June 2018, and previously worked as a Train Driver for GNER, East Coast, and Virgin Trains East Coast between November 2004 and September 2014.
