Miriam Heywood is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in corporate communications and media relations at the London Metal Exchange, where roles have included Head of Corporate Communications, Head of Media Relations, Press Officer, and Research Assistant since April 2010. Prior to this, Miriam served as a post-doctoral teaching fellow at University College London from September 2009 to May 2010. Educational qualifications include a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in French Studies and a Master of Arts (M.A.) in French Studies from University College London, along with a Bachelor of Arts (BA) in French from The University of Edinburgh.
