David's extensive experience at Sainsbury's spanned over 26 years, during which various leadership positions were held, including Head of Wholesale Operations and Head of Supply Chain Strategy. Key achievements include the design of organizational structures to support growth, the recruitment and management of high-performing teams, and delivering significant cost savings and operational efficiencies across multiple supply chain roles, including fresh and non-foods supply chain management. David has demonstrated expertise in operational oversight, strategic planning, and stakeholder collaboration throughout a diverse range of supply chain and customer experience functions.
